PGG DIY: Kid’s Valentine’s Day Cards – Shot Through the Heart…

I don’t think I’m alone when it comes to having attempted elaborate, Pinterest-worthy, Valentine’s Day cards for my child’s class. Said attempts often ended in tears and frustration with piles of unfinished cards on the dining room table that I wound up finishing after the kids were asleep.  That was, and is, not the point of Valentine’s Day cards for the classroom.

For this reason, we have scoured Pinterest, Google and other blogs to come up with a list of (mostly) non-candy Valentine’s Day cards that are easy, affordable and ones your kids can complete with little assistance. We’ve included free printable Valentine’s Day cards for your personal use and we recommend printing on heavy card stock.  If you don’t have heavy card stock, you can print on regular printer paper then glue the card onto construction paper in order to make the card sturdier.
